SUPREME BOOK (RIZZOLI 2010)

The iconic skate shop on Lafayette Street in downtown Manhattan, which first opened its doors in 1994, has since become the home of New York skate culture. Roll with Supreme, as it takes you inside the shop, onto its sets, through its contact lists, and into its archives with an in-depth feature conversation between Supreme founder James Jebbia and artist KAWS.

The monograph also serves as the class of 94 alumni book for the Supreme Team, a tight crew of New York skaters and characters.

Glenn O'Brien, former editor of Interview Magazine, fittingly intros the monograph on Coltrane's A Love Supreme -- a reminder supreme of the work this small independent company and its contributors have put into defining its identity and true personality. It's a reminder of how throughout its sixteen-year history, Supreme's imagery and products have been unpredictable, effortless, timeless and altogether complete.
